At the heart of the PTA, are our Room Parents, connecting Parents with Teachers and families with each other. Room Parents are the liaison between the PTA Leadership Team and each family unit in their class. They help recruit volunteers for the classroom and organize classroom festivities or family social get-togethers. They share information that parents need to know. And they help with Teacher Appreciation, such as collecting contributions for teacher (and support staff) holiday and year-end gifts. They also support PTA fundraising efforts, especially those that are specific to their grade (such as the Read-A-Thon for 3rd grade or the Wreath Sale for 5th grade). Room Parents must attend at least one PTA meeting per month. If you are interested in learning more, please contact us.
