This fall, the Crested Butte Community School PTA is asking you to show some love for your school during our “Love Your School” Fall Sponsorship and Underwriting Drive.

- How much does the PTA raise? Over the course of the school year, we raise and re-invest approximately $115,000 back into CBCS (not including the additional money collected for Teacher/Staff holiday and year-end giving.) This covers nearly 750 students, or about $150 per student. –> if you have more than one student in the school, consider one of our underwriting sponsorships, beginning at $250.
- Where does the money go? 37% to Student Programs & Resources; 35% to Teacher/Staff Appreciation; 18% to Parent/Family Engagement; 7% to Education Advocacy; 3% to Admin. Check out What We Fund
- What does the PTA do? So much more than fundraising, lol…. Consider getting involved! We have volunteer roles with limited time-commitment and some that don’t even require meetings! Check out “Beyond The Dollar” and Leadership Team
- I paid for a $10 membership– is that part of the fundraising? Our membership dues are not part of our fundraising. Dues represent about 5% of our overall budget, and we expense those back out to our State and National partners. They provide support and resources to us, as a local PTA unit, and they advocate at state and national levels for public education.
- I want to support but cannot contribute financially at this time– We understand! In addition to many volunteer opportunities, we also have, for the first time ever, Membership Scholarships.
